Phynox® Tube

Our seamlessly drawn Phynox tubing shows shiny and even surfaces. Standard roughness values Ra are in the range of 0,4 µm and can be asked even lower. Maintaining the high surface quality of our polycrystalline diamond tools greatly contributes to low roughness values. The surface quality of the tube depends on the wall thickness/outer diameter ratio. Generally it is determined by the state of the inner tooling and the manufacturing sequence. By applying diligence we consistently achieve roughness values of even less than 0,4 µm. Medical tubing with high quality inner and outer surfaces is most suitable for all following process steps and largely to contribute to cost savings.

We manufacture the Tantalum tubing according to ASTM F 1058.
