Vascotube’s Nitinol tubes are the result of unique expertise in the machining of this material as well as innovative power that continuously unlocks new possibilities.

TUBE SURFACES
The surface roughness of the finished tube is one of the key quality requirements.
Any flaws or deformations that might occur on the surface of the tubing, are permanent and cannot be eliminated in the production process of the stent. Thanks to our production know-how, an outstanding degree of smoothness is achieved on inner and outer surfaces. Depending on the dimensions, a roughness less than 0.1 µm (Ra) for outer surfaces, and less than 3 µm (Rt) for inner surfaces, is possible.

EXCELLENT CONCENTRICITY
This special tube-related specification has a prime importance on the laser cutting process. Vascotube’s tubes achieve concentricity tolerances of up to 0.01 mm across the entire production batch.

This property influences the life cycle of a final product and the performance under constant stress in the human body. Our tubes offer wall thickness tolerances of up to +/- 0.0075 mm. Vascotube can ensure these tolerances not only for individual tubes, but for all tubes in a production batch.
